Description:
This starter set of the LAB series is suitable for many ant species.
Ideal to observe founding colonies well. It is kept simple and offers enough space for animals to start.
This ANTCUBE box is equipped with a plug-in frame and an attachable lid, and also has two 27mm ports. The lid has a 50mm hole in which mesh inserts, fans, etc. can be plugged. This practical and easy-care arena is suitable as a feeding or waste chamber.
The nest or flat formicarium contains a special point of gypsum for nest humidification. The point of gypsum can be supplied with water from a resevoir placed underneath via a moisture-absorbing band without having to open the formicarium. It offers a good opportunity for observation.

To give the animals an underground feeling, we recommend a red cover plate Art.No. 1005428
The point of gypsum Art.No. 1005433 can be reordered and replaced if necessary.
Note about the connection sockets
The following must be observed when attaching or removing flexible tubes:
If the flexible tube is very difficult to fit on the connector socket, the socket should be lightly rubbed with a drop of our ant escape protection oil or powder. The flexible tube should then be pushed onto the connector socket by turning resp. screwing without loading the socket with up and down movements. The same applies when removing the flexible tube. Please do not just pull it out!
