Notes on Battery Ordinance
In the delivery contens of many devices there are batteries included for example to run remote controls. Also in the devices there can batteries be permanently installed. Related to sales of (rechargeable) batteries we as a trader of batteries are bound by law to inform you about the following:
Please dispose of used batteries as required by law at a municipal collection point (local community), to specific used battery containers or provide them to any local retailer free of charge. To do so you are bound by law.
The disposal to household garbage is explicitly prohibited according to battery ordincance!
Batteries you received from us can either locally be brought back to our shop or sent back to us postally at this address:

Batteries containing pollutants are marked with the symbol of a crossed roll-out container. Below the respective bin symbol there is the corresponding chemical label of the pollutant. The labels stand for:
Pb = Battery contains lead Cd = Battery contains cadmium Hg = Battery contains mercury |
You also have the option to read these information again in the accompanying documents of the consignment of goods or in the manual of the respective device manufacturer.
