Note: The parts are supplied as a fully assembled product. To attach the wall mounting, simply loosen the acrylic screws at the top and bottom and remove the base. Reattach the two acrylic plates with the screws 1x at the top and 1x at the bottom.
Connection: 2x hose 20/16 mm (outside) or hose 14/10 mm (inside) or 24/20 (outside 2nd stage of connection)
Description: The ant staircase is used to bridge the height from the arena to the ant farm.
Application: for ant farms measuring 20x20cm or 40x20cm
Important for use with acrylic tubes:
The height is not suitable for our size XL ant farms.
For use with acrylic tubes (e.g. ant tube - crystal clear 20mm - 1m art. no. 1000320) instead of hoses, you need a total of 3x the "Tube connector crystal clear for 20mm - I" (art. no. 1005624). 1x for the ant farm socket and 2x for the two stairwell sockets. In addition, for old ant farms (all purchased before 12/2023), a "transparent flexible sealing ring" (item no. 1001437) must be pushed onto the ant farm socket. Otherwise the "Pipe connector crystal clear for 20mm - I" (art. no. 1005624) sits too loosely on the ant farm socket. In addition, if a formicarium base is used for the ant farm or arena, one should also be used for the staircase, as otherwise there will be a slight difference in height between the staircase socket and the connections on the ant farm and ant arena.
