Description: Heater mat for the formicarium, especially for ant species from warm countries. They dispense infrared radiant heat, which will warm up objects and animals without increasing the air temperature. So you can make a place for the ants to get a sun-bath. With a heater mat it is easier to reach and control a temperature gradient. These mats are self-adhesive and can therefore easily be fixed in Formicarium.
Note: Do not place heating elements directly below the formicarium. It must be guaranteed the warmth can be dissipated in order to prevent a heat accumulation resp. damages at your formicarium.
