Acromyrmex cf. coronatus is a small to lower temperature adapted Leafcutter ant from Central and Southamerica. Their Nest is often situated above ground. In this way the energie of the sun can heat up the nest more efficient. They forage mostly nocturnal often change their nestingsides after disturbance. |
