Description:
This ant arena is suitable for all ant species due to its construction.
Usage:
The ant arena center offers a wide range of new possibilities in contrast to the previous ant arenas.
- 2x 27mm (3/4") bores in the side panel (for tube-, basin- or pipe connectors)
- 2x 13mm (12,75mm) bores in the side panel (in order to attach food tubule, water troughs. Further there can be connected 10mm pipes by an adapter ring)
In case of disuse of these bores there are suited plugs available.
Note:
In case of ant species which are known as escape specialists we recommend to use an ant arena frame as well as an ant arena covering. Glass is cut according to DIN 1249 with a tolerance of +/;- 1mm. With extremely small ant species, additional ant escape protection is essential.
