Description:
This nest inset can be placed into an ANTCUBE ant arena and be filled with a e.g. sand-loam-mixure or any other soil substrate. The special feature is that it's removable and can be removed for example to hibernate the ants in any cooler place. As an entry and exit as well as a for ventilation there is a 10mm-bore at the bottom. For hibernation it can be closed with a formicarium plug.
Please note: Glass is cut according to DIN 1249 with a tolerance of +/;- 1mm. With extremely small ant species, additional ant escape protection is essential.
