Description:
This nest insert can be placed in an ANTCUBE ant arena and filled with a suitable material to dig in (e. g. sand-loam mixture) or with a cork or gypsum nest. The special feature is that it's removable and can be removed for example to hibernate the ants in any cooler place. As an entry and exit as well as a for ventilation there are two 10mm-bores at the bottom. For hibernation they can be closed with a formicarium plug.
Please note: Glass is cut according to DIN 1249 with a tolerance of +/;- 1mm. With extremely small ant species, additional ant escape protection is essential.
