Description:
This nest inset can be placed inside an ANTCUBE ant arena and filled with a material suitable for digging (e.g. sand-clay mixture or Digfix). The special feature here is that it can be conveniently removed from the arena, e.g. for overwintering without taking the ants out. As entrance and exit and for ventilation there are two 10mm holes in the lower area. For overwintering these can be closed with 10mm plugs (these are not included).
Note: Glass is cut according to DIN 1249 with a tolerance of +/- 1mm. For extremely small ant species, additional escape protection is essential.
