Description: The red transparent cover plate is used to give an underground feeling to the ants. Therefore we recommend to use this product to cover at least a part of the nest area. Because the plate is transparent, it is still possible to observe the animals through. The cover plate fits perfectly for our plate antfarms PF 10.

Note:
This cover can be used for several types of formicaria and therefore has more opening than you need for a formicarium.
