Description: Flat formicarium made of several layered plates and a sponge for nest humidification. At the lower edge of the "walls" the ants can reach the water in the neighboring districts. The integrated connection sockets can be used to extend the formicarium via hoses or to connect it to an ant arena. In the left part of the nest there is a free area suitable for placing food bowls. The grid insert with stainless steel gauze serves as a cover for the opening and provides optimal ventilation. The interchangeable wall pieces allow the different districts to be either opened (with gate) or closed (without gate). Thus, the different nest areas can be made accessible according to the needs and size of the colony. If the nest is too sterile for you, you can also place some soil in the chambers for your ants.

Note about the connection sockets
The following must be noted when attaching or removing flexible tubes:
If the flexible tube is very difficult to fit on the connector socket, the socket should be lightly rubbed with a drop of our ant escape protection oil or powder. The flexible tube should then be pushed onto the connector socket by turning resp. screwing without loading the socket with up and down movements. The same applies when removing the flexible tube. Please do not just pull it out!
