Description: Flat formicarium made of several layer plates and a special gypsum plate for nest humidification. The integrated connection sockets can be used to expand the formicarium via hoses or to connect it to an ant arena. In the middle part of the nest there is a free area which serves as access to the humidification plate, but is also suitable for placing food bowls. This free area is covered by a frame ring. (Optionally, this frame ring can be coated from the inner underside with a breakout protection medium (oil, varnish or powder). This prevents the animals from escaping through the opening. The grid insert with stainless steel gauze serves as a cover for the middle opening and ensures optimal ventilation in the process.

Note: Slots of 0.5mm can occur.
Note about the connection sockets
The following must be noted when attaching or removing flexible tubes:
If the flexible tube is very difficult to fit on the connector socket, the socket should be lightly rubbed with a drop of our ant escape protection oil or powder. The flexible tube should then be pushed onto the connector socket by turning resp. screwing without loading the socket with up and down movements. The same applies when removing the flexible tube. Please do not just pull it out!
